Marian Rivera
Marian Rivera is one of GMA 7′s most popular stars, becoming the network’s darling actress when she signed on for MariMar, an adaptation of the classic Spanish telenovela starring Thalia. Aside from her beauty and dancing talent, Marian was more apt for the role since she is half-Spanish herself and born in Madrid, Spain on August 12, 1984.
MariMar would ultimately launch Marian to primetime success, going on to star in other TV shows such as Dyesebel, Darna, Endless Love, and Amaya. She has also topbilled several box office movies that together gross more than P100 million.
