MTRCB Now Summons Wowowillie, TV5
MTRCB is on a roll lately, as they’re now after TV5′s noontime show Wowowillie, following their summons and sermons on GMA7′s Party Pilipinas and ABS-CBN’s ASAP.
Apparently, they’re acting on complaints regarding Willie Revillame’s show due to the Willie’s recent castigation of co-hosts Ethel Booba and Ate Gay. MTRCB Chair Eugenio Villareal said that they’re summoning the network’s and show’s officials over the portrayal of women in media and on-air decorum which was outlined in the Memorandum of Agreement between the Board and the TV networks.
For the third time in recent weeks, MTRCB is ordering another gender-sensitivity seminar for a noontime show. It’s quite the byword these days, after Lovi and Rocco’s sex-simulating dance number and Anne Curtis’ no-panty performance controversy.
For our part, while we do want Willie and his veritable harem of co-hosts keep the drama on the down-low, we hope this won’t affect the bevy of sexy dance numbers from hot Pinay celebs.
